You know your a mom when...

1. You rub your childs back for 30 mins. so he can fall asleep.
2. You let your 2 year old wear lightning McQueen shoes out in public.
3. You let your kids help make dinner even though you know it will take way longer.
4. You pick your childs nose with your finger nail.
5. You need to take more time outs than your kids.
6. You go to bed at 8:00pm, and are asleep before your kids.
7. You take your kids to the park for hours because you know they LOVE it.
8. You get up at 5:30am and find yourself watching "Cars" with your 2 yr. old for the 20th time that week.
9. It's 5pm and your counting down the minutes until hubby gets home to give you a break.
10. You would do anything for your little guys because you love them so much and they make you happy!

Some days are harder than others at our house, and on those days their is more yelling and crying by all. But it's those harder days that make the easier ones feel like a breeze. I love being a mom to Peyton and Brody and adore both of them. They sure have taught me how to laugh, cry and forgive.

4 years old...

Peyton Brady Karren is 4 years old.
I can't believe it. He is getting so big i never thought this day would come.
Peyton is our active, silly, adventurous, helpful, smart kid. He loves to be outside, go on hikes, cook/bake, be with his friends, go to preschool and go visit family. He is always asking if we can go to Canada. He remembers everything and everyone he meets.

We love you Peyton, we can't wait to see what this years brings for you (and us)!!!!

Grandma Sefcik was able to be here for Peytons birthday.

Peyton started preschool this year and loves going to see Miss.Kate. She is great with him!

He loves, adores and can't get enough of his little brother. I just hope it continues...

We had his party at chick-fil-a, that was the best idea!

Peyton loves to go to the mountains and hike around, i can't wait for summer when we can go to real mountains in Canada!

Valentines Day...

At our house.
I put out some little treats on the kitchen table so the kids would find them at breakfast. Well they found them alright and Brody ate all of his chocolate in one sitting and he didn't even get sick. Peyton at 1 or 2 then saved the rest.

Brody had to hike all by himself this time and wanted very little help. I can't believe how much faster they hiked this time. Peyton was our little leader and did a great job.

My kids are hilarious!!!

I was checking in on Peyton when i found this little conversation going on.

Mischief i tell ya....

These 2 little boys are ALWAYS getting into trouble. I'm constantly wondering where they are or listening for how quiet it is. They LOVE water and are always turning the water hose on outside or sitting in the bathroom sink filling it up or dumping out there cups on my table. What do i do???? How are 2 little boys out smarting me? The only good thing about all this is that they play great together.

this child dumps his drink out all the time.Then proceeds to slurp it up off the table. YUCK!

He found some gum and unwrapped every piece and shoved it all in his mouth. When i came to check on him he was spitting it out saying how HOT it was.

Peyton and Brody are always trying to join in our morning workouts, they each pick up a band and start BRINGING IT! They both can almost do a full push up thanks to P90X!

This is what i find when they HIDING from me. For some reason they think if you can't see me i can't see you. Little kids are so funny.

Girl Trip To.....

VEGAS!!!!

My sister and i wanted to get away on a girly trip and thought it would be fun to have Carly (Robs fiance) and Lindsey (Brent's girlfriend) join us. We all had a blast. We celebrated Becky's birthday, went to show (awesome) and did alot of SHOPPING! Oh ya and ate so much JUNK.

BIRTHDAY GIRL, Becky turned 30! (she is 6 months prego)
She is my favorite sister, i love that i can call her anytime. She is always honest with me, we usually know what the other person is thinking, she is a good mom to the cutest little girl, she is going to go crazy when she has baby #2, she is adores her little family, she works hard (i wish i could what she does), she loves her sleep, and she is the BEST aunt to the cutest nephews around. We love you Becky, thanks for all your love and support!!!

This was 1 day of our shopping spree, most of it was Becky's....just for the record.

We went to PF Chang's for her birthday dinner, so good. We love you lettuce wraps!!!

We headed to the show after dinner and it was AMAZING. We saw Le Reve (i'm sure i'm spelling it wrong) If you ever head to Vegas go see this show.

We had to stop by the frozen yogurt place to get the best yogurt ever.

The M&M shop, it looked so delicious. Good thing i don't really like m&m's, i'm a Canadian girl at heart and i LOVE smarties more. And at $11.99 per pound it wasn't worth it to me.

We layed around alot, i think we were in bed before 10pm every night.

So sad but our time away had to end sometime, reality set in and a couple hours later i was back to being a mom. Thanks Brett for taking your weekend to watch our boys and a HUGE thanks to my best friend Shari who took my kids when Brett was at work. My kids didn't even want to leave her house when we went to get them. They love you Kirkhams.

slow is the new fast....!

Another 1/2 marathon done and my legs are KILLING me. My friend Tasha came out from Detroit to run the Phoenix rock 'n' roll 1/2 marathon and i decided to join her. It was a blast i couldn't believe how many people were there, 37000!

I had so much fun shopping, getting pedi's, eating out (because i don't cook), and just hanging out a talking.
