If you know our Peyton you know that he has had a little trouble with his speech. He has come along way and is doing really good. He has this little accent when he talks that makes some words sound super cute. He's really into telling me how much he loves things. This was a conversation i had with him the other day:
Mom: "Peyton lets go out side and ride your bike."
Peyton: "I lube it mom, I lube my new bike. Daddy fixed it."
M: "Yep, daddy did fix it."
P: "I lube Daddy, i lube Brody and i lube my new bike."
M: "do you love mommy?"
P: "Oh i lube mommy , and i lube my new bike! Thank you daddy thank you. Daddy fixed it."
Ok so i'm glad that he loves everything we give him and do for him, but what about mom??? I'm the one who took him to the store to pick out the bike, and i even talked him out of the pink and purple one with the hot pink baseball helmet! That's right. He was riding around the store with this pink and purple trike and found a ladies size baseball helmet near by and he puts it on backwards. He insisted that he ride this thing around until we're done. So when we were paying he gave back the pink bike and helmet to the cashier. I was so mad i didn't have my camera or my phone to take a pic. It was pretty funny. Anyways, Brett put it together for him and tightened his seat a couples days later and that's all he remembers. So every time he see's his bike he says "Daddy fixed it, thank you daddy." I lube you too Peyton.....

Poor Little Guy...
This little one can't catch a break. Let me start from the beginning, it all started when he was about 2 months old. We caught RSV and was in the hospital for 2 days, he had to be on a breathing machine every couple of hours. When we took him home he was still having trouble breathing, so the doctor put him on inhalers. And to this day whenever he gets a slight cold, cough you name it, he has the worst time breathing. He sounds like a wheezy old man. So my sister (the Respiratory Therapist) has diagnosed Brody with asthma (i forget what the long term is, but he'll eventually grow out of it) she has him taking inhalers everyday even when he's not wheezy, and even more when he is. So i decided to listen to my sister and start giving him inhalers everyday (the doctor hasn't said to do this, but my sister knows best, she takes cares of babies all day long with the same thing) And even though i miss some days Brody is doing lots better with his breathing. Now the next item of business. Ear Infections. This Brody of ours has had 5-6 ear infections in the past 6 months. I took him about a week and a half ago for his 15 month check up, and the dr. is doing his thing and asks me how the ear infections are doing. I tell him he was doing great he hadn't had one since beginning of Jan. (I did take him in at the end of Jan or beginning of Feb. thinking he had one, but he was fine. Just teething) So he checks Brody's left ear and he says "He has a nasty ear infection right now..." What! He had been alittle fussier than normal but he wasn't pulling on his ears. I thought he was teething, well he is the bottom molars have popped threw. So this is the second time that i haven't caught it and the poor little guy has had to suffer until the Dr. found it. Dr. Mark said if he gets another one then they'll send him to a specialist to get the tubes in his ears. For all the colds, teething, asthma and ear infections Brody is a happy little man. If it was me...we all know i would be a BIG complainer. It breaks my heart that he has gone threw all this, it seems like he is always sick. I wonder sometimes if i could have prevented it...some how!
I hope he out grows all this, and I'm truly blessed that this is all i have to deal with right now. I know some people have it way worse, and I'm thankful that Heavenly Father has blessed me with Brody!

Belated Friday Favorite...
I love birthdays, i love seeing the little kids faces when they see their friends, presents, cake and candles. Our little Peyton turned 3! He had a little pirate party, it was so much fun. The night before the party i had hung up some decorations and in the morning when he got up i heard him yell from the kitchen "thank you mommy thank you, it's my party." He was been waiting to have a party since Brody turned one in November. He was so happy to have his cousins and friends Cayce and Sienna over. I have never seen a little guy so excited to turn 3! We love you Peyton, your a great kid and an awesome brother.

FRIDAY FAVORITES...
So i have 2 favorites this week first is my children. I know they should always be my favorite and but this week was a little different. It started out super crazy, i don't know what got into them but i was ready to give them away. I called my sister on Monday to vent about how my kids have turned into monsters. I was talking and giving Peyton time outs at the same time (i know talented) I went to go let him out of his room and decided to lay on his bed to finish talking when all of the sudden Peyton decided to lock his door and shut it. We changed his door knob around so we could lock him in, but on Monday he locked me, Brody and himself in his room. It was 5:30 and Brett was supposed to get home around 6pm. So i called him and told him the situation and all he could do was, first laugh then second tell me he wasn't going to be for a while. Oh great! I was stuck in Peytons room until 7pm. Maybe i shouldn't give time outs while on the phone. So on Tuesday i woke up hoping things had changed but the kids were even more busy. When Brett got home he could tell i was done, he told me to go out for awhile. And he then gave me a call when the kids were in bed and it was safe to come home. Thanks hunny. Then Wednesday came.... and i decided i was going to be more positive and pick out all the good things i love about my kids. I had took them to the gym so they could run off some energy and then to the Mesa Museum for youth so they could run some more. By the end of the day i decided that the rest of the week was going to be just like Wednesday. And it has been so far.
Who wouldn't love these 2 faces????
My second fav. is a BLAST from the PAST. Do you remember these paint book our moms used to buy us? All you have to do is use water with your paint brush and the color appears. What a great invention. My kids LOVED it, it
s definitly a new favorite activity at our house. And the best part is an entire book is only 89cents at target! Thanks Target for pulling threw again.....

PICTURES GALORE....
This week has been super exhausting, i've had a sick Brody a crazy Peyton, not enough sleep and my sore throat is still hanging around. And to top it off i've only ran twice this week. But on a positive note i've had time to take lots of pics...
Peyton fell asleep on the couch one night and naked Brody got away and tried to wake up his brother. This is the only time Brody can get away with pulling Peytons hair, climbing on him and torturing him without getting a hit, push or shove!
OK we found Brody on the couch watching tv looking like this: shirt up, belly out and laid back as you can get! Can you say "white trash???"
