Our trip back to CANADA....

Me and the boys decided it was time to take a trip, so off to Canada we went. My dad was having back surgery so i thought i would go up to help him. Brett's mom said she could help watch my kids while i was with my dad so i took her up on the offer and dropped my kiddos off.
My dads surgery went well, the Doctor said it was worse then expected but my dad seems to be bouncing back pretty good. Way to go dad!!!!

Becky came up to Calgary to help too, here she is shampooing dads hair.

We also came to Canada to this cute little thing. I have to say Peyton took this picture and i love it.

It snowed the entire time we were there but started to melt the day before we left.

can you say "FREEZING"

I am up in Canada and the day i got here it started SNOWING! And not just alittle, like 3 feet of snow everywhere. It has been 3 days now and it wont stop snowing, i'm remembering why we moved to Arizona. My kids are dying because they have to be inside, but they LOVE looking at the snow and Peyton jumped into it today. I think Peyton remembers it, he knew just what to do and he didn't even care that his shoes got all wet. Brody on the other hand starting crying when we touched the snow and his hand was freezing, he wasn't sure what he should do. And my dad was trying to help Brody put his coat on and he said to Brody "come put your coat on" and when Brody walked away he's like "why doesn't he understand to put his coat on?" Well the last time my kids wore coats in Arizona was at Christmas. And it was a hoodie! So this is a very interesting experience for my kiddos, and i think it's safe to say that we wont be back to Canada unless it's summer!

Who cooks dinner? Both of us. I hate cooking and Brett loves cooking so if i don't have dinner made he'll make it.

Who drives when together? If we are in the van i usually do, but if we go in Brett's car he does.

Who is more stubborn? Definitely me, Brett can hold his own but i never give in.

Who is the first to admit when wrong? Brett, because he's the who is always wrong. Just kidding i was wrong once and i totally admitted to it.

Who wears the pants in the family? Both of us.

Who mows the lawn? no one, we have fake grass. That's right it's the best thing ever.

Who kissed who first? Brett kissed me first and i made him work for it.

Who asked who out first? He asked me out but we had been hanging out with friends for awhile together.

What is your favorite thing about him? hmmm. I would have to say that he makes me laugh even when i'm mad. And he is always doing things to improve our relationship! Love ya babe.

Peytons world...

Our Peyton LOVES the camera, if he sees it laying around he will climb, snatch or beg to use it. Most of the time i don't let him play with it, actually i never let him play with it. I have let him take a pic or 2 with me right there helping him, well....... i downloaded my pictires and to my surprise someone was taking pictures. I've got to say "i'm impressed" he got it focused most of the time and he got some great shots. He likes to follow his object around.. you'll see!

This was easter when Dustin, Nicole and the kids came over. I'm actually glad Peyton took the camera he got some funny shots.

Easter Happenings.....

We had a great Easter this year. We tried to explain to Peyton that Easter wasn't about candy and easter eggs it was about Jesus. Well i think we will have to explain a bit better next year. When he found his easter basket i asked him "who brought you all this stuff?" His reply was " thank you Jesus!" I guess he kinda gets it????
Our ward had an easter egg hunt for the kids, it was so fun to see them find all the eggs. Brody would find one sit down and eat it then go and find another one. He is so cute!
I tried to get some pics of the kids in their Easter outfits but if you've met my kiddos you know they don't sit still ever, mostly Brody. I did get a few of Peyton and some of the picture i took when i was trying them on the kids when i first bought them. You'll notice the tags in some of the pics.

I tried to download more pics of Brett but they wouldn't work, my computer is doing something funky tonight. But this is one of my all time favorites, this is Brett and Peyton when we went to Virginia to visit our friends. Peyton was about 6 months old here.
Brett and i have been married for 6 yrs. this April, i can't believe how time flys. When i met Brett he was living down the street from my moms house (where is was living) and we went to the same student ward. To make a long story short we started hanging out (thanks to a few friends) and then the rest is history. Brett and i got married and moved around to 6 different locations, and are now settled here in Gilbert Arizona. Brett graduated from dental school last May and is working with a great dental group. Brett is an awesome dad and husband. I really couldn't of asked for much more (except that he clean a little more!). Brett i love you and all you do for our family. I hope you know how much i appreciate you and your hard work, i'm truly grateful to have a husband that is strong in the church and is there for me when i need someone to talk to. Thanks for being you....

Would you EVER...?

I was having a conversation with some girls in my ward and we were talking about
PLASTIC SURGERY!
Some of us were talking about what we would have done...ok, so i was talking about what i would have done! And the question was asked would you ever get it done if it was for free or you got paid a million dollars? We all know my answer yes, yes, yes, i would get more done! Some girls said "NO"......really?
Am i that vain or insecure about myself????
Ever since, I've been doing some seriously thinking. I'm happy with my life, my husband is great and my kids are amazing. I am truly blessed to have the life i do. But i'm also blessed with not so cute thighs and bum. So i came up with the conclusion that i would still would get it done. I would never do it because someone thought i should, i would do it for me. I think having a little help is ok even if it comes from a plastic surgeon and a lot of pain.
So what i want to know is, would you get any kind of plastic surgery done even if you had to pay for it????
