Friday Favorites...

I have decided that my blog needs a little direction so i am going to try to post some of my favorite things every Friday! So, for the first one i have decided to share my love of ARIZONA.... that's right folks! We have only lived here a short while but i'm madly in love this place ( i thought i should share this one before it gets tooooo hot i'm not thinking that anymore). It's the only place i've lived that
1.you can wear flip flops in the winter and people don't look at you crazy
2. my kids can play outside 365 days a year
3. my family likes to comes see us
4. i don't have to buy winter gear

Today is my sister's 29th birthday! So this post is for her to let her know how much i love her. She is always there for me when i need to talk and finds a way to make me feel better. I don't know what i would do without a sister....

TIME OUT...

Can you guess which one is supposed to be in time out by himself??? Brody always follows Peyton to the time out spot and sits down right next to him. Peyton likes the company and often calls Brody over. I'm not sure if this is supposed to count???

They are growing up so fast

Brody is growing up right before our eyes! I can't believe that he is turning into a little man and isn't my baby anymore.

I went to the play Hairspray with Ellie and Tom Burnett. So i had Brett take a picture because i never get ready during the week and it was kinda nice to take some time a do my hair and makeup.

We bought a new camera, it's the exact same as our old one just the newer model. So i've been testing it out taking lots of pics of the kids. We've been having a nice time relaxing after a busy holiday. The kids are finally back into a routine and i've actually been cooking dinner... I know crazy!!!! Brett and i are trying to eat healthy and shed a few unwanted pounds. Our workout schedules have going great and i think we're nicer to each other when we both get to exercise. Fancy that!Peyton using his chair!

I took the kids to target and found these bath towels on sale for $5 so Peyton picked 2 out for him and Brody. He insisted that he be the yellow duck...whatever!

Happy Birthday Nicole...

Today is my sister in-law's birthday!!! So this is a shout out to her. She is beautiful, always has the best clothes and is the nicest gal around. I won't tell you how old she is because i'm not exactly sure but she looks awesome.

She convinced me to do a half marathon with her (and others) so she is very motivational! is that a word???

And can kill her husband at guitar hero, go wii master!!!!

We had a great Christmas. We decided to stay in Arizona this year instead of going back up to Canada. It was nice to not think about bundling up every time we went outside, the nights were cold enough here that we had to wear a jacket but during the day was still warm. My mom and brother Rob came down to enjoy the nice weather with us, which made Christmas feel normal. The kids had so much fun with nana and uncle Rob. My favorite quotes of the season came from our little Peyton. The first time he say Rob we was so excited he was following him all over, he was trying to get into the bathroom where Rob was when he said "Rob it's Peyton let me in."The 2nd fav. was the day after they left, it was morning and Brody was screaming when Peyton said " Brody quiet Rob and nana are sleeping." The pictures are kinda messy, i wasn't sure what i was doing...like usual!
